A: 

Canberra is one of the most affordable cities in Australia for international students to study abroad. Students have to manage their basic expenses when considering the cost of living in Australia in Canberra we have mentioned them below:

·      Accommodation – You choose to either live in university-approved housing at our Bruce campus or find your own place in Canberra. On-campus living costs start from USD162 per week and Off-campus living vary from USD160 per week for a room in a shared house to USD400–500 per week for a 2–3 bedroom house.

·      Transport – Canberra city is well serviced by public transport, tertiary students can apply for a concession card for public transport travel

·      Food and groceries – There are so many supermarkets and store to buy good food for you. Students need to budget around USD100–USD150 a week for food and groceries for one person

·      Utilities – Along with accommodation, students also need to manage their home utilities expenses such as electricity, gas, mobile phone or internet, and water. Utility bills can range from anywhere between USD20–50 per week.

It's nice and calm here also safe.
Tips: Students should know about the climate and food that they will get here. Also, prepare for the transport. Be sure about the course and timetable you take. Don't take anything that is not on a PR list. If you have relatives that would be a great help and cut so many costs for living.
Likes (Safety): There are several RAs that is for in-service 2 hours a day and they are so good. Also, the campus has security cameras. Some great scholarships for the students and also many relief funds for the students are available. The city is so small and not very much functioning at night. Everything is closed by 7.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are lot of Indian restaurants in the city and nearby areas but most of them are North Indian foods not south Indian. So for getting south Indian food, we have to travel a lot. So I prefer to cook myself and also buying food is not cheap to buy, therefore, I prefer cooking.
