Lenient teachers, light schedule.
Tips: Students should know that after making such a big journey and going to another country for studies, there will be many cultural shocks. In Canada's case, most of them are positive. The college mostly has a light time table so it is very suitable for doing a part time job and most of the teachers are very lenient. Getting a scholarship or bursaries is really hard, as I did not get one even after having a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Maintaining a good work life balance!
Tips: After the transition, initially, it takes time for the student to get familiarised with the new cultural shift. Alone figuring out all the things and settling up in a new country by themselves is difficult.
The study experience was really nice, got to know various different aspects and the teaching mainly focuses on letting the students work by themselves to get a nag of the project and assignments.

More than just a place to study.
Tips: Students must check the pathways after the completion of their studies. Other than this, they must also look for part-time opportunities within the city because the transportation facilities of this city are not that good. Overall, I would say that it is a good college to go on with and you will enjoy a lot of good experiences here.
Likes (Value for money): After the course, co-op internships are really good. The expenses in this city are very less when compared to other big cities, so you can save a lot of money in your student life and hence, it will help you to get settled in a new country.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Buses are there after every half an hour which means if you are late by a minute then you will have to wait for another half hour. Sometimes, it even makes us late for our jobs, because of which if you are coming to this city then you are always expected to be there before time, if you want to reach your destination on time.

Moderately satisfied with my college
Tips: The transition was quite easy but the speed with which the classes start is very difficult to wrap your head around. You have to be on it from the first day of classes. There was no cultural shift that I experienced because there are many Indians here and food is also quite decent but the weather is really hard to adjust to. I am moderately satisfied with my college just because of a few policies that sometimes may hinder your transfers to SFU. It is not much and can easily be dealt with but is a little more tedious than it has to be. Otherwise, the teachers, the courses and the rest of the students are very friendly and really helpful.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The whole campus is well connected to the rest of the city but the only problem is the time. It takes 40 minutes to reach the campus from a place it would take only 2 mins drive. The public transportation is very convenient but not so affordable.
