The university is good and there are lots of on-campus events happening simultaneously.

Tips: Before joining the University of Birmingham, it is essential to manage their time well, especially with dividing the academic workload, networking with professors and peers, and getting involved in campus activities. Also, be prepared for a different teaching style and expectations compared to home. The city is generally safe and the campus facilities are good. There are occasional cons in certain parts of the city particularly at night. The overall crime rate is low, but it's always important to stay alert and follow safety tips. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

Dislikes (Indian Food): While it is sometimes difficult to find authentic dishes from my country, I have been able to find local stores that serve familiar flavours. The availability of ingredients in international stores or markets also helps, but certain spices or delicacies are often harder to find.

Tips: I did transition after coming here. There was a huge cultural shift I faced during the first month, but I eventually got used to it. I did avail a scholarship. It was granted by my university for International students and was worth 3000. On-campus part-time jobs are mostly taken by the locals. They don't prefer international students. They have set so high standards for even part-time jobs on campus. Managing academics and part-time at the same time is a bit hectic. The minimum payout is 10.42 for those who are above the age of 21. Overall, I'm satisfied with my university in every aspect.

Likes (Quality of faculty): Well-experienced faculty members from all over the world. They were easily accessible and ready to help at any time. Classes were conducted in seminar halls with a video recording option, so we can access them at any time after that throughout our lifetime.

Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The process can be lengthy and requires meeting strict criteria like continuous employment and Visa eligibility. If given a chance I would consider permanent settlement due to the country's thriving cyber security industry and cultural diversity which alliance well with my professional and personal interests. However, visa policies and job market competition remain key factors to evaluate.

Tips: The faculty is the major highlight of the university. Everyone was an expert in their own fields. Their ability to blend theoretical concepts with practical applications made learning engaging. The program offered numerous hands-on projects that allowed us to apply what we learned in real-world scenarios. The feature of assigning a personal tutor to every student helped everyone get the academic guidance and support they needed. Besides, there are numerous events, activities and seminars histye by the college for students so do participate in it. The best experience for a student.

Tips: There definitely was a cultural shift for me. But nothing most people can't handle. It took me a while to learn certain things that India didn't teach us. I got a commonwealth scholarship of 2000 pounds. About the university, the infrastructure and technology blew my mind. It is the perfect place to study.

Likes (Safety): Birmingham is a very safe city. Even through the night it is mostly alive. One thing to keep in mind is to avoid the canals. In the year and a half that I lived there, I did not have any bad experience. As long as we don't go out of line, I'd say we will have no trouble.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): They have no placement drives like the ones we have in India. We have to look for jobs ourselves. Given that the UK is in a recession, it is very difficult to find jobs in the country. They prefer hiring a fresher who is from the UK or EU rather than someone for whom they would have to sponsor a visa.

Tips: There are many cultural shifts once you arrive here in the UK. Coming here is one thing and starting living and sustaining here is another thing, From managing studies, and exam pressure to financial hurdles, and homesickness an individual has their journey uniquely. In the UK, people tend to be more individuals and have fewer family links and social organisations. India's culture is more closer and conservative than Britain's. No, I did not avail of any scholarships, though advised to apply for them as quickly as possible. I am quite satisfied with the university, programme and country. We just need to stay focused and keep working hard until we find some good full-time opportunity.

Likes (Student Life): A typical day starts early in the morning, getting ready for either a lecture to attend or a sports session such as swimming, badminton, basketball, gym or tennis etc. Then after coming back, prepare food for lunch and evening, then study and go to sleep after some fun time with friends. The most enjoyable thing that I used to do in my college life was going to play sports and get myself involved in activities such as fitness and sports. There are diverse events organised by various societies under the Guild of Students, ranging from cultural fests to simple events on going on campus or student accommodation. I used to participate as maximum as possible if I had spare time to socialize and have fun in those events. Student clubs are there for all types of interests, academic programs, backgrounds, nationalities, religious beliefs, etc. Such as business societies, photography, gaming, Hindu, Islamic, and Sikh societies, International Students Club, volunteering and UNICEF communities, dance clubs, etc.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): The only opportunities for students available on campus are Career Fair, where recruiters and companies visit campus and interact with the students directly. Very few sponsor visas, for the rest, students have to take up graduate visa route on their own. Most of the roles are for freshers such as graduate scheme roles, graduate management or trainee, financial auditor, etc. The starting average annual salary is 30,000 pounds.

Tips: I have grown as a person, become more independent, and more mature since entering university. There were some cultural shocks and differences, but mostly how kind and accepting most people were. That feels like the norm now. Likes (Safety): I have a very active social life at the University of Birmingham. I spend my time studying, attending class, and working out at the gym. If I have any energy left, I like to go out with friends. There are many social events on campus that I can attend. The student body is very diverse, and everyone is kind and accepting of everyone else. The staff is very helpful and always there to support and talk to new students.

Dislikes (Student Life): The staff at the University of Birmingham are very kind and helpful. The university is incredibly inclusive and diverse, and the staff is very attentive to everyone's problems. Tips: Coming to study at the University of Birmingham is a good place to get accustomed to changes in your lifestyle. The university is very welcoming, and there are quite a few scholarships that you can apply for on a merit basis. I have not applied for Permanent Settlement in the country, but I would consider staying here if I could. The University makes you aware of many opportunities that could help you transition into settling down here. Overall, I am very satisfied with the University.

Likes (Part time work): The University of Birmingham provides several opportunities for part-time and casual work. You can manage both academics and part-time work, but off-campus opportunities may require more time and effort. You get paid on an hourly basis, at an average rate of 11 per hour.

Thriving at the Univeristy of Birmingham: Independence, diversity, and opportunity.

Tips: As for the University of Birmingham, it is a great university that prepares you well for the world where you are no longer a kid who only has to worry about grades. Coming here has taught me to be independent financially and mentally. The campus is very diverse which lets me immerse in different cultural experiences. The student union is always there to support you from safety to mental well-being. The University also celebrates every cultural festival from Diwali to Ramadan, which never gives you the feeling of a home away from home. I did secure an academic scholarship for my course which is funded by the university themselves. Although the cost of living is quite high at the moment. But other than that, this is an amazing opportunity for me where I get to do a course I love at an exceptional Russel group university at the heart of Birmingham that offers all the support and advice.

Likes (Internships): The University has a huge careers network, with each college having its own. They provide excellent one-to-one advice on getting work experience, internships, volunteering, full-time jobs, etc. They also provide several other services like mock interviews that prepare you for the real challenge in the application process. For students with zero or very limited experience, the University offers a programme called B-Experienced, through which internships provided by companies offer special spots for students from the University of Birmingham. Hence when it comes to work experience and career in general, the University of Birmingham is a great choice.

Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The current UK government has tightened immigration policies, which might make permanent immigration options a bit harder. Also, if you secure a good job in a company that is ready to sponsor you, then that's great. However, most postgraduate students struggle with this aspect.

University of Birmingham does not provide any internship for international students.

Tips: It is always better to connect with multiple people and faculty members to know what's going on near you and what opportunities exist for the future. I also think joining societies is a great option to keep the stream off while enjoying your university experience. Public transportation in Birmingham is good. It connects the whole city and buses are frequent. However, buses may be delayed due to various reasons, which can be a problem for students commuting to lectures or work during peak hours. I suggest checking the routes and buses beforehand so that you know the average commute time.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): I was an international student at the University of Birmingham. I found that there were no jobs at all for international students. I faced extreme competition in finding jobs, and the university didn't provide any guidance or help with these issues. This made the situation worse than it might have been otherwise.

University of Birmingham has a beautiful and huge campus.

Tips: The campus is beautiful and there are a lot of activities to do, so you won't feel bored during your initial couple of weeks. After that you get busy with assignments and academics, so you'll spend most of the time going back and forth from the lectures to your accommodation, and part-time work. Like in India, there's not much pressure on studies, which can either be a good or a bad thing. I'm happy with the fact that the university is well-recognised and gives students career guidance. The current job market is tough in the UK to get a job, so only time will tell whether it's worth it or not.

Likes (Safety): Safety can be a matter of different experiences for different people. I never had safety concerns even when walking down the street late at night. Of course, you need to be a bit cautious of your surroundings. The campus does provide an app, and some safety gadgets during the welcome week, as well as a free bus to Sell Oak to travel when it gets dark during winter.

Dislikes (Public transportation): You can travel by train or bus. Buses are usually more connected than trains but are generally late, and it doesn't matter if you check the scheduled time on Google Maps or bus stop, they will make you wait for 15-20 minutes 90% of the time. I also don't think public transport is very affordable. It's 2 pounds for a ticket whether you want to get off at the Next bus stop or after the 15 bus stop. A monthly bus pass is now 49 pounds for students, but they keep increasing the price every year. Last year it was 46 pounds.

An amazing experience that needs a closure.

Tips: Students should be open to everything the university has to offer. Embrace the life that comes along with it. It's simple but effective in the long run, and you won't regret it later on. Of course, there will always be things you couldn't be a part of, but that's okay. Cherish the rest of your time there, and you'll look back and cherish it all for sure. I'm pretty satisfied with my time at University College Dublin.

Likes (Part time work): They've got a pretty good system for roles within the university and I'm a recipient of them. If going through the right channel and succeed in your interviews/assessment centres, the opportunities within the university are crazy for part-time. It is quite manageable with your coursework given the fact that you have good time management skills. The average payout is 12/hour.

Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's pretty fragile and extremely difficult to obtain sponsorship after the course commences and the Graduate visa is granted. I wouldn't likely want to permanently immigrate here as I've got other preference in life and this country doesn't fulfil them all.

Navigating growth, challenges, and opportunity in university life.

Tips: Before starting university, make sure you're comfortable with basic household tasks like cooking and cleaning. Students spend a lot of time studying, and learning these skills ahead of time can save you considerable time and help you keep up with the assignments, attend classes, and still enjoy university life. Birmingham is a fantastic city with access to nearly everything you might need, from Indian utensils and spices to food and there's almost nothing you won't find. However, if your mood is affected by the weather, be prepared for long stretches of gray, rainy days, with little sunlight for 6-7 months. The climate can be challenging, so building emotional resilience is helpful as well.

Likes (Public transportation): Buses are very frequent and you can get a bus in 5-10 minutes. The university has also its own bus service which is run for specific routes every day. The university has an integrity rail on the campus which also connects to the major and minor stations of the city.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): All the big 4 and MBB companies visited the university for the job fairs and offered internships and advice for the proper route for full-time jobs and with several on-campus activities to polish your soft and hard skills. The starting salary of a Business analyst with no or little experience at all is 338500 to 346000.

Tips: Living in the first year with flatmates of many backgrounds was interesting however there was not a huge cultural shift. There is a requirement to stay social which can be achieved by joining clubs and societies- sports are highly appreciated. The University Campus is a mixture of historical and modern, almost a reflection of the country. There is a large level of diversity with people from all walks of life. Especially in the course lectures where almost everyone comes from somewhere different.

Likes (Internships): The internship process has been made very simple here at the University. There have been resources provided such as for writing the CV or preparing for an interview. The status of the University is also strong enough that it creates a small advantage over some of the other applicants.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): I am still studying at the University and therefore do not have a strong idea as to how helpful they are in assisting for long-term jobs. However, they do provide resources that can aid in CV writing and interview practice which will help when applying for such jobs.

It was a good experience with great faculty.

Tips: There was definitely a cultural shift. The people, food, and traditions are definitely different here and it will take some time to get used to all the changes but it is manageable. It can be overwhelming at times. For data science, since it's a demanding course they do not provide any kind of scholarship so that's a sad thing.

Likes (Indian Food): There are a crazy amount of restaurants and cuisines for all kinds of people and cultures. The prices are alright but some of the restaurants do offer students discounts so that is a good thing. The food is good and you basically have millions of options to choose from.

Dislikes (Value for money): I really liked the campus and the facilities were good. I would recommend trying to get a job at the university as it is definitely beneficial. The university shares a lot of resources so there is no need to invest in any kind of personal resources. There are lots of career fairs and opportunities but it's difficult for international students to get a decent full-time job.

My Great College Experience.

Tips: I got the opportunity to connect with a lot of students and made some great friends. I also had the opportunity to do an internship and gain some valuable experience in the UK market. The university has a lot of cultural societies that put on a variety of events, so there's always something to do. The university also offers scholarships for international students, which is a big help. I stood for the selection in my university and won that with a good number of votes and currently, I am working with the University as an Activities and Employability Officer. I'm very happy with my university experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering studying abroad.

Likes (Internships): The University of Birmingham provides a lot of guidance and opportunities for students. The university has partnered with many startup companies to offer internships. These internships are called B-Experienced Internships, and they offer a variety of roles to appeal to a wide range of students. The internships last for 20 days, which students can complete in two to three months while they are studying. Students who complete these internships can earn up to 1600 Pounds.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): The University of Birmingham has lots of career fairs for specific fields and also some of them provide visa-sponsored jobs. The university also provides some visa sponsor jobs to international students. There are various job roles like Business Development Manager, Communication and Marketing roles and supply chain management roles and students expect their starting package from 24000 to 35000 Pounds.

Tips: Students must find accommodation in the city centre. The staff are really helpful. I got an early acceptance scholarship. The curriculum is really different, in a good way, so one can easily balance their work and study. Overall, I am really satisfied with the course. university and the campus.

Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is nice and helpful. They are informative and responsive. They really interact a lot with the students and help them in any way possible. Our course especially had some practical exercises which helped us to understand the industry better.

Totally a new kind of experience.

Tips: I didn't get scholarship, and the transition was difficult at the start but making more and more friends helped me through the college experience, and assignments as well. It is a good course, but I didn't learn any practical skill required for the jobs.

Likes (Student Life): Food options are good, and library and study area are also nice. There is a good option to network with friends. Clubs are there in the university and around the university. We can have a good time with our friends and, also events are always going on at the Aston portals.

Dislikes (Internships): No Internship opportunities are there. Overall, the university has a placement department which helps with resume writing, but they don't help us to get job or internship. We have to do research and apply on our own to get an internship, which is very difficult nowadays.

Tips: I am quite happy with the way things are now at Aston University. There are so many people from my country that I don't feel much of a cultural shift. I also got a scholarship of 6000 Pounds from Aston, which is far better than any other Russell Group university. If you are interested in studying here, please inquire about the modules you plan to study.

Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are very knowledgeable and helpful. They provide various opportunities for students and also help students with various aspects of mentoring during the course. The modules are thought out very well, and the faculty are always ready to help, even during non-working hours. Resources are shared on time, and the faculty are always available to answer questions.

Dislikes (Internships): I am yet to discover internships here. I belong to the September 2024 batch and am currently pursuing an MS in business and management. The college is very good, and everything is easily accessible and modernized. I hope internships will be easy to find, but I have heard from seniors and fellow students that finding a paid internship is quite difficult.

Good university with a diverse environment.

Tips: University is quite diversified and have lots of students from India and all over the world. Their are many scholarships which are offered by the university. University is located at city centre so everything is nearby. Overall, my personal experience was good.

Likes (Quality of faculty): The staff is really great and helpful. All professors have enough experience and prefer a practical approach while teaching. You can book appointments with all your professors and can talk with them anytime during working hours. I have seen quite a diversity in the faculty members.

Dislikes (Internships): My course comes under engineering college, so we were not allowed for internship. In business school internship is part of their term time which is not the case for courses in engineering college. You get enough time for the third term and work on your dissertation so that you can collaborate with any company.

Tips: Before joining the university you should carefully review the course you want to join and achieve a career in it and also how many accreditations it has. What are the chances of jobs after completing your degree. And if you start the process of application well in advance you can get scholarships worth 1000-3000.

Likes (Indian Food): I have a lot of Indian restaurant options and different cuisines are also available, for instance, north Indian, Indo-Chinese, South Indian, Chat etc. So food is not gonna be a problem. But eating out regularly can be expensive. So I would suggest getting the groceries and cooking at home and all Indian groceries can be purchased from Indian shops nearby.

Dislikes (Post study jobs): Nowadays, it is very hard to get a job in the field which you have studied. Then the most common problem is your visa status. That's one of the major reasons for rejection of the job. An ATS-friendly resume and Cover letter is another task that needs to be 100% accurate before you apply for the jobs and your resume needs to be tailored before applying for each job. So this all makes getting a job a little difficult. Though the university provides a website where they regularly post graduate role jobs.

Tips: Before joining the university students should know about the culture and diversity here. I was offered a scholarship of 1500 GBP which was deducted from my tuition fees. Tips: There are many scholarships and the best scholarship to apply is vice chancellor scholarships. Birmingham is mostly a student-based city and we can get many part-time jobs. Rent is cheap and ABG is a good student accommodation you can opt for if you are joining Aston University. Apart from food, we will not experience much cultural shift.

Likes (Student Life): The organisation hosts numerous student gathering events designed to foster community and engagement among students. Unfortunately, my experience was different due to timing. I completed my postgraduate studies right after the pandemic, a period when campus activities were significantly restricted. During my time, the emphasis was on maintaining health and safety, which meant many traditional on-campus events were either cancelled or moved online. This lack of in-person gatherings limited opportunities for networking and building connections with peers and faculty, a vital aspect of the university experience. Although virtual events were held, they often lacked the interactive and immersive qualities of face-to-face meetings. Despite these challenges, the resilience of the student community honed through. We adapted by creating smaller, informal meet-ups and leveraging online platforms to stay connected. Now, as campus life gradually returns to normal, the organisation is revitalizing its event calendar, offering a range of activities that cater to diverse interests and foster a sense of belonging among students. This renewed focus on community-building is essential for creating a vibrant, supportive academic environment.

However, I did experience a cultural shift, coming from a different country and educational system. But, the university international student support team helped me navigate any challenges. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship, which I applied for through the university website. The scholarship covered a significant portion of my tuition fees, and the application process was straightforward. I'm extremely satisfied with my university, course, and country. Aston University offers a world-class education, and my course has provided me with valuable skills and knowledge. The UK is a fantastic place to study, with a unique cultural experience and plenty of opportunities for personal growth. Overall, I feel proud to be an Aston University student, and I'm excited for the future ahead.

Likes (Student Life): I rated 5 on Student Life because I absolutely love my college experience! A typical day for me is always paced with exciting activities. I usually start with classes, followed by club meetings or group projects. I'm part of the debate club and volunteer groups which keeps me engaged and active. I also make sure to attend various events organized on campus, such as guest lectures, cultural festivals, and career fair. What I enjoy most about my college life is the sense of community and camaraderie. My college offers a diverse range of events, from academic seminars to entertainment nights, which cater to different interests. I participate in at least 2-3 events per week, which helps me stay connected with my peers and faculty members. Our campus has a vibrant student life, with numerous clubs and communities focused on various interests, such as sports, arts, and social cases. Additionally, while there were some internships available, they were not always directly related to my field of study, which made it challenging to find a good fit. More guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and internship search strategies would have been beneficial. Tips: You have to match up the pace of the university because everyone will be running. You should have a brief knowledge of your course so that you will not face any difficulties while doing assignments. I didn't get any scholarship but they do offer one. I am very much okay with my college.

Likes (Student Life): Quality of life will be good being more productive. Going to libraries, with different people. Doing many things at a time makes us more productive. Apart from studies you will have a chance to participate in various events such as student leadership roles and sports etc.

Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Currently, employers are not offering sponsorship for long-term visas as they feel supply chain positions can be easily replaced by someone unless the individual is well-experienced, But that differs to other streams. But in the supply chain, we do have jobs and we just need them in the right way.

Underwhelming college experience

Tips: There was definitely a transition after coming here. There was not much of any cultural shift I experienced but there was definitely a change in my lifestyle and personal growth which inclined towards self-development. I did not avail of any scholarships and the university doesn’t provide too many scholarships and getting one is rare. I am satisfied with the university but not the course. The course needs much learning outside the curriculum. You need to learn different tools and techniques which are not included in the course for better learning opportunities.

Likes (Public transportation): The campus is situated in the center of the city and is easy to commute. There are buses running all day with very high frequency. The transportation is pretty affordable when compared to other cities. The university provides a concession amount for the people who travel to the university. So transportation should not be an issue.

Dislikes (Value for money): The rating of 2 for the tution fee is supported by a lack of robust experiences and extracurricular activities, the perception of average instructors and insufficient university support in placements which collectively contribute to a less satisfying educational experience.

Tips: You'll find many students from India and South Asian here, language here is no such problem however pace up with the British Accent! I personally wasn't on any scholarship here. The course curriculum was good and Industry- specific and our lecturers were good as well giving us all the relevant knowledge that we needed. The college has many groups and clubs you can join and become part of and football here is good. The college has been a long-time supporter of Aston-villa F. C currently playing in the top tier of English football and students do get some perks in their home games at villa park. You'll definitely enjoy being here at Aston!

Likes (Post study jobs): I would say that the placements are quite average but I've rated it 5 because the university is constantly improving with the new graduate route. Most of the placement opportunities are online and one can apply from there. Nearly all the students get jobs or get enrolled for Ph.D.

Dislikes (Value for money): Considering the difference in academic pattern of Aston with that of other Indian Institutions, there is better student support. The student union here is good which adds up the value of money paid to come here. Honestly, it's not only about the quality of faculty but also about how you are treated as a foreign student in the institution you are going. However I've rated it a 4 because no doubt there are groups and unions to help you out but the help-desk processes are a bit slow.

Overrated with respect to fees but maybe better for MBA courses

Tips: I am an Indian and while coming to UK, I was expecting to live in a different culture. However, the majority of the crowd here is Indian. My class had 98% Indians. I did not like that as I wanted to experience studying with people from different backgrounds. However, everybody has a different perspective and they might find comfort in such an environment.

Likes (Public transportation): There are buses and trams every 10 minutes throughout the city. Hence, travelling by public transport is easy. There are cabs available as well. The bus pass costs 40 gbp per month based on student discounts and the university also provides help to students living far.

Dislikes (Value for money): My tuition fee which is almost 21000 gbp does not seem justified. The syllabus is short and repetitive. The ranking of the university is going down. It does not make sense to pay that much amount for a university which does not stand out from other cheaper and better universities.

Top in mid tier Universities.

Tips: Aston is not very prestigious university but still it's reputation is good and it will provide you with many opportunities. So you will need to work extra hard if you want to land a great job in future. Aston provides lots of support to students and especially tries to help international students as much as they can in every possible way. They really have a great and resourceful library. Tutors of Aston are awesome and know what they are doing. Try not to skip classes, pay attention in classes and you will be golden. You will gain lots of knowledge here and experience which will help you in future.

Likes (Student Life): As I live near my university everything I need is very close by. And public transport here is really good so it's not an issue even if you live far. Lots to do, nightlife is never boring here. Lots of resources are available to students by university. You will find student discounts almost everywhere. It is very easy to find part time job if you are not very picky about it.

Dislikes (Safety): Not my personal experience but heard from some people that they have been subjected to some unpleasant situations like eve teasing, mugging etc. And almost every local advised me to be careful at night and to stay away from certain areas. All in all, if you're careful it's not really that bad.

Tips: Before joining try to network with students of your course, knowing about part-time opportunities and accommodation near the university will help in participating in many activities. There is free eye-check for Aston Students and you can follow the Aston Students Union social media page. Time management is the key for any postgraduate student to plan for the best time in the University.

Likes (Student Life): Amazing student life. A lot of activities, clubs and societies. University is near the city center so it is accessible to all places around Birmingham, so lot of opportunities to participate. Great college atmosphere, and good places to eat around and chill.

Dislikes (Safety): Little unsafe during late nights in certain areas of Birmingham. Moving around in groups is better. Cycle peddlers sell a lot of restricted items. There have been cases of stabbing and robbing near deserted places. Unsafe to travel alone at nights.

Likes (Public transportation): The city is well connected with local bus service and the travel expenses are reasonable. 40 pound per month for students is the fee and they can travel unlimited with access to all the routes. The frequency of bus was so high and the routes of bus services were within the city.

Dislikes (Internships): The city is good and vibrant to work and live in. There are a lot of opportunities in the city in my field and the city has good professional work and job culture. The city loves the professional workers and the professional workers love the city as well.

Aston University is good with friendly people.

Tips: I am delighted with the course, the facilities, and the support I receive from the university. The professors are accommodating, open-minded, and very intelligent. They have helped me with my coursework and encouraged me to participate in extracurricular activities. The facilities are very good, including a library and academic support.

Likes (Public transportation): I live close to my university, but I don't use public transportation. However, the public transportation system in this country is excellent. There are bus stops every 100 steps and train stations are open 24 hours a day.

Dislikes (Part time work): Aston University is good with friendly people. There are definitely both on-campus and off-campus job opportunities available. It just depends on your communication style, networking, and efforts. It's pretty manageable because you have to work only 20 hours per week which is flexible with attending your classes as well. The average payout for a part-time job is 11.74 GBP, according to the national minimum wage.
