OET Exam Pattern/ OET Syllabus 2024

OET Exam Pattern/OET Syllabus: The OET exam has been specifically designed for 12 healthcare professions including Occupational Therapy, Dentistry, Nursing, Radiography, Veterinary Science, Medicine, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Podiatry, Pharmacy, and Optometry.

The Occupational English Test more commonly referred to as OET covers all four language skills with special attention to communication in the healthcare environment. Candidates who are looking to appear for the OET exam will be required to appear in the following OET exam format.

OET Results & Scores 2024

OET Results: Candidates who have successfully appeared for their OET can expect their OET Scores to be generated approximately within 16 working days from the day of each test. Students who appear for their OET would be graded on a scale of 0-500 in ten points increments. The numerical score would be further mapped to a separate letter grade for each subtest with (alphabet A) denoting highest to (alphabet E) denoting lowest. There is no overall OET grade.

A. OET@Home is available at the moment for test-takers. However, they are trying to do a complete launch of the home version of the OET test by the end of the year.

A. Candidates are advised to take their valid passports as ID for the exam. National ID and Aadhar Card are also acceptable on request and candidates are required to fill out a form during g the time of registration.

Q. How many hours is the OET exam for?

A. The duration of the total OET test takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Q. What is a good OET score?

A. OET does not have a good score benchmark. However, candidates are expected to comfortably get well over the 350 marks in each sub-test to be eligible for the best opportunities. I always struggle with the reading part- and be careful of scum and scammers who Are roaming around Facebook trying to get your money and say they can make sure to get a pass for you!
