- EDISS is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programme delivered by four partner universities – Åbo Akademi University, University of the Balearic Islands, University of L’Aquila and Mälardalen University.
- The EDISS programme aims to bridge the gap between data scientists and software engineers by offering a range of courses that give the student a basis for engineering data-intensive intelligent software systems.
- Students will thus become experts in integrating data science and machine learning solutions into software and system engineering processes, which brings them to the forefront of the next generation of professionals that shape industry and society in the 21st century.
- students are offered a wide selection of courses that help them build strong theoretical tools to be able to master the skills, techniques and requirements of the second year specialization
- In addition to the mandatory and elective courses offered in the programme, EDISS students will participate in a one-week winter school organized each year during the second semester of the academic year..
