Candidates are selected on the basis of their general and disciplinary knowledge of their degree, and more particularly of the bac+3 level as well as on their individual motivation.

Depending on the master's courses, students coming from a degree in Earth sciences, life and Earth sciences, environment, physics, chemistry, physical geography or biology can be admitted.

The Research course for engineers is open to 2A engineering students at EOST. It can accommodate engineering students whose prerequisites are identical to those of Eost students.

A pooling of certain courses is organized between the Eost geophysics engineering school and the GDT and GeoT courses. Some courses are also shared between the ISIE, GDT and GeoT courses in order to allow a wider professional opening and, possibly, bridges between the courses for access to M2
