MSc in Finance (In German)

• Students must have a bachelor's degree
• Prerequisites:
  • Sufficient mathematical and stochastic prior knowledge is available. This is the case if mathematical/stochastic courses with a scope of at least 10 CP have been completed,
  • Sufficient prior economic knowledge is available (10 credit points micro, macro, economic policy, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge in the field of finance/banking/capital markets as well
  • as at least one scientific paper was written in the previous course.
  • For applications from abroad, proof of language skills is required in advance, as our events are held in both German and English.
  • Foreign applicants are also asked to submit a receipt from their previous university with their application, which shows how much time was spent on a credit point in the previous course.
• The requirements described here are minimum requirements for admission to the course. The course is designed for the Bachelor's degree in economics or financial mathematics at the Chemnitz University of Technology with at least 15 LP in math/statistics and up to 18 LPs in economics.
