The Free University of Berlin does not specify any particular criteria for consideration of a student profile. However, it looks for a student with a strong academic record, practical/work experience in the relevant field, and varied interests. Language proficiency tests are compulsory, as most of the courses are taught in German. Also, it will be useful for students to communicate and move around the city. Yet, getting admission is quite challenging, mainly due to the high volumes of applications and competitive applicant pool.
