Located in the south-western of Berlin, Dahlem Campus is home to several departments like humanities, social science, history, law, business, economics, political sciences, biology, chemistry, and physics. The campus also houses 106-acre large Botanical Garden and John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies. The Lankwitz Campus comprises the Institute of Geographical Sciences, Institute of Meteorology, Institute of Geological Sciences, and the Institute for Space Sciences. The campus also has university archives. Duppel Campus houses most of the auxiliary divisions of the Veterinary Medicine Department. Located in Steglitz, Benjamin Franklin Campus is the merged medicine department of the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin.
