- Master of Public Health (MPH) is designed in order to meet the increasing demand for highly trained public health specialists in Ireland and abroad
- Students will be equipped with the core knowledge and specialized skills necessary to make a real difference in public health. This is a full-time and structured program, delivered over 12 months

- Possess a minimum Second Class Honours Grade I in a primary honours degree (NFQ Level 8) in a relevant subject area Or
- Possess a minimum Second Class Honours Grade I in a postgraduate diploma (NFQ Level 9) in a relevant subject area
- Relevant subject areas are Biological Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Public Health and Social Sciences

In exceptional circumstances, the Admissions Offices may consider an applicant to have met the English language requirements if:
- their undergraduate (Level 8) or postgraduate (Level 8 or 9) qualification has been taken through the medium of English in a country where English is not the acknowledged primary language. In this instance, the applicant must submit formal proof of same from the awarding institution, i.e. an official letter stating that the language of instruction was English, and a decision will be made by the admitting School/Department. Applicants may also be required to undergo an interview, a skills test, and an assessment of their written work
