UCC is a wonderful college with many amenities and excellent faculty.
Tips: Please do your research on Ireland as a country. There is an ongoing housing crisis and it is very expensive and difficult to find accommodation. It is very expensive to live here and college work does not allow much time to work part time hours.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty for translation studies is highly supportive. The professors are very experienced in their field and very helpful too. Course work is intense and difficult at times but they are lenient with deadlines.
