A challenging yet rewarding journey in academics and growth.

Tips: Students should be prepared to manage their time effectively to balance coursework, projects, and extracurricular activities. While UCD has a vibrant campus with numerous societies and events, you may need to actively seek out opportunities to make the most of your experience. Don't hesitate to join clubs or attend events—it's a great way to meet new people. Dublin is an expensive city, and students should budget carefully for accommodation, food, and other expenses. Living on or near campus is ...

University College Dublin is good but the faculty is not very active to teach.

Tips: Students should be preparing well in advance for academics. Since teachers don't make an effort it's self-study from here onwards at least for Masters. The more you learn on your own the better you will be. I am actually satisfied with my university since it's one of the best grade colleges but there can be some changes done to the course structure.

Likes (Student Life): Student life is actually amazing. One can actually chill out in front of Belfield Lake or be totally involved in any sort of society according to th...

The sports university of Ireland.

Tips: The college is very good. It's a modern college with a strong focus on sports and extracurricular activities. Living on campus is a different experience than living off campus, and I think it's a great experience. The study load is not as hectic as it is in India, and the curriculum is great.

Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are good and are very friendly and not like some arrogant professors we get in Indian universities. Here the professor feels like they are among the students only. Also, the professors however hi...

Life at University College Dublin is fun and thrilling with intense curriculum.

Tips: UCD is renowned for its academic excellence, particularly in research-oriented fields. The courses are rigorous, with a focus on independent learning. As a student, you will need to manage multiple deadlines for assignments, projects, and exams, so developing time-management skills is crucial. The campus itself is vast and well-equipped, featuring libraries, computer labs, and recreational facilities. Engaging with student societies is highly recommended as it helps in networking and adjusting t...

UCD provides a perfect blend of academic and social activities.

Tips: Before coming to UCD, it's helpful to review your modules and revise your basic knowledge. For Masters courses, the expectation is that you are familiar with the basics, and the course will start with advanced material. Also, try to connect with people in your course, alumni, and others in your field. There are events held on campus so look out for them and participate in it as it helps in building connections. Overall. I am quite satisfied with my course, college and the country.

UCD: A diverse, supportive, and enriching experience.

Tips: Before joining UCD, students should know that it's a diverse and research-focused university, where balancing studies with active participation in campus life can make a huge difference. Moving here, I experienced a cultural shift in the emphasis on independent learning and proactive networking. The diversity on campus has broadened my perspective, and the collaborative environment makes transitioning easier. UCD is a great college to pursue your degree.

Tips: There is a cultural shift but it can be overcome. I did get an international scholarship of 10,000 Euros from the university itself. The college is warm and friendly with a lot of fun activities happening on campus. The faculty is very friendly and will help us throughout the semester. I am quite satisfied with my university, the course, and Ireland as a country.

UCD provides a detail oriented academics and amazing student life.

Tips: The teaching method at UCD is very similar to that in India for lectures. However, for practical work, the method is quite different. In practicals, we are expected to do everything on our own. If we get stuck, we can go to the professor's assistants for help. Also, getting a scholarship for my course was quite difficult. However, scholarships for other courses, such as MS Political Science, are easier to get. Overall I am quite satisfied with my experience.

A supportive, challenging, and rewarding experience for international students.

Tips: Before joining UCD, it's important for students to know about the academic expectations and the high level of independence required for coursework. The environment here encourages self-driven study and critical thinking, so time management and self-discipline are essential. Students should also prepare for the Irish climate, which can be quite rainy and cold, and understand the cost of living, which is higher than in some other countries. Transitioning here was an exciting challenge. The cultura...

College is modern thinking, focusing on sports more and student health.

Tips: Before joining this college, make sure you have prior experience, as graduate roles are limited. Also, there are no scholarships for CSNL courses, and you can expect your class to be filled with Indians almost 90%. On the plus side, the academics are not at all stressful.

Likes (Safety): I didn't have any bad experiences here. Irish people are known for their friendly hospitality. However, if you go to the city centre then you might feel a lack of security as there are a lot of illegal immigrants who do shady th...

Decent college; there are lots of opportunities available for part time jobs.

Tips: Students should try to set a budget or else you'll surely overspend it on food and entertainment. Try to find accommodation near the university which would allow you to narrow down on transportation. There are several scholarships available, the information can be found on the university's website and sometimes when you apply for the course, you receive the notification automatically which is deducted from the total tuition fees that you have to pay.

I didn't get any scholarship but there are scholarship schemes which you can avail of through ucd website. I am very satisfied with the university, the course and the country. University College Dublin has excellent teaching faculty.

Tips: No cultural shift but the competition is high. Students coming here should have background knowledge of the course before entering the course since it gets easier to pick up things. The process is slow for everything. Choose college and courses based on your need and don't blindly follow anyone.
