Master in Engineering Systems - Batch of 2023
3.8
Good university only if you are capable of handling immense stress as the curriculum is pretty hard.
Tips: The education system here is very different. You have to do things on your own and in projects you are the only one who has to come up with a solution and the teachers are your clients here. They will only give you hints nothing more than that. You have to manage your theory subjects and practical projects together. The subjects are generally very hard. Even getting the passing mark which is 5.5 is very tough here.
Likes (Safety): In general, the city is not that big and the people here are very nice and there are no crimes in the city. The college is not outside the city. In general, the city is very safe to live in. As per my experience, I haven't faced any bad experiences in the city.
Dislikes (Internships): The college doesn't help you find any internships. You have to find on your own. There are internships available but you have to find them actively on LikedIn or any other website or you have to follow up with the company website. In general, you have to find your own internship. Many automotive companies offer internships.

It's a good choice, living in the Netherlands is the best thing about it.
Tips: Finding a place to stay is the most difficult part. Language is not a big problem, but still a tiny hindrance. The place is multicultural and totally safe. I got a scholarship for my thesis, it was around 2K euros, paid once. It helped me with the expenses during the thesis.

Master of Science in Automotive Systems - Batch of 2023
4.3
A university with friendly faculty, well-structured subjects and projects.
Tips: People here are very friendly, ready to help and mostly speak English. So, there is less chance to encounter cultural shock. Once you receive the offer letter, scholarship details will be provided by the university. And they will guide you throughout the process. I am happy for taking the right decision.
Likes (Indian Food): Arnhem is mostly filled with students from all over the world. So there are many types of restaurants (Indian, American, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Turkish, Mexican and others). Roughly around 10 to 15 euros might be enough to fill your stomach. I prefer to cook, however, I used to eat outside food twice a week.
Dislikes (Value for money): I think the tuition feels for this course is reasonable to some extent. Since this course has many electives and each elective is well structured and detailed. Also during this course, we will work on several projects and I believe these projects are major strengths of this course as they are similar to ongoing projects in the industry. However, we might think that the tuition fees are a bit expensive when compared to many universities in Germany. But when compared to Dutch universities, tuition fees seem normal.
