Aarhaus University, Denmark: Apply for Masters degrees programmes; Scholarships options available
The application deadline for Master's degree programmes at Aarhus University, Denmark for session commencement in August/September 2025 is 15 January 2025 for non-EU citizens.
Study Abroad: Aarhus University Denmark is currently accepting applications for master's degree programmes. The last date to apply for non-EU citizens is 15 January 2025 and for EU citizens, it is 1 March 2025.
The eligibility requirement is that the candidates must have a recognised and relevant university degree which is equivalent to a Danish Bachelor’s degree in level and length.
They must also meet the language requirements. To prove the English language efficiency, the applicants can submit the TOEFL and IELTS test scores or they can also submit Cambridge English Qualifications. Also, certain certificates and diplomas from previous studies can be submitted.
The applicants must submit documents which describe the general and specific points of the Bachelor’s degree.
“Once you have decided which programme(s) to apply to, collected all the necessary documentation, and know about any relevant fees, it is time to begin the application procedure,” reads the official statement.
To apply for these programs, the applicant must submit an online application by providing personal information, and educational information and choose the Master’s programme (s) in which they are interested in pursuing.
“Please note that changes cannot be made after your application has been submitted. However, your application can be reopened for the purpose of uploading additional documentation. In this instance, the university will contact you to let you know which documentation is required. You can find a guide to submitting additional documentation below,” added the official statement.
The university also offers a limited number of scholarships to exceptional students. However, these scholarships are not available to EU/EEA/Swiss students. Also, there are many external scholarships and loan programs available such as - the Global Education Programme - a new scholarship scheme for Russian applicants, US loans for American students, Canada student loans and grants, and the Beasiswa Reguler LPDP (Indonesian scholarship scheme).

The researchers at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Aarhus University along with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in France and the Polytechnic University of Madrid have found that zinc can make crop yields more climate-resilient.
Assistant Professor Jieshun Lin, the study’s first author said, “It's truly remarkable to discover zinc's role as a secondary signal in plants. It is a vital micronutrient, and it has never been considered a signal before. After screening over 150,000 plants, we finally identified the zinc sensor FUN, shedding light on this fascinating aspect of plant biology.”
