Advanced Placement Exam Registrations For 2025 Testing Open Until November 15, 2024

Study Abroad: Indian students looking to appear in the Advanced Placement Exam 2025 can register by November 15, 2024.

College Board, the conducting body of the SAT® exam and AP® program, announced that registrations are open for 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) exam. The last date to apply for the exam is November 15, 2024. Indian students can also secure their spot.

AP Program For Study Abroad: Details

The program has diverse course offerings and a rigorous curriculum and offers a competitive edge to students for admission in India and abroad. It helps students to demonstrate their educational skills and also in smoother transition to higher education.

In India, the adoption of AP scores for college credit is gaining popularity. Universal AI University, Karjat, Mumbai is the first university in India to accept AP credits for admission.

AP exams will be held from May 5 to May 9 and May 12 to May 16, 2025, at AP-authorized schools and test centers. There are authorized test centres in India for AP exams, interested students can contact their preferred centre to get information related to fees, registration, and other details. There will be 28 AP exams, of which 16 will be conducted fully online and 12 in a hybrid format. The students need to bring their own approved devices for the test.

“AP Exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, and most U.S. and Canadian colleges grant credit and/or advanced placement for scores of 3 and above. AP exam scores are also used in admissions globally. The composite scores are calculated from both multiple-choice and free-response sections, reflecting consistent achievement year after year. This rigorous assessment process allows students to demonstrate their understanding and mastery of subjects, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic journeys,” added the official statement.
