Aston University, Symbiosis Offer Dual Degrees In Dubai And UK

Aston University in the UK and India’s Symbiosis International University are jointly offering dual degree programmes in the UK and Dubai.

Study Abroad: Aston University in the UK has collaborated with India’s Symbiosis International University to offer a new dual program which will provide students with UK and Dubai degrees. The students will get to study in both Birmingham, UK and Dubai.

While commenting on this, Professor Aleks Subic, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Aston University said, “I am delighted to further strengthen our two universities’ partnership across our campuses in the UK and Dubai. This strategic development will pave the way for our joint academic programmes delivery and represents a critical juncture of our internationalisation and cooperation. It will also equip students with a global perspective on their studies and help them develop the competitive skills which are essential for success in today’s market. As well as creating new opportunities for both of our institutions, this new initiative sees us realising our ambition of extending our reach, scale by diversifying our academic portfolio and growing our student communities through international partnerships.”

Symbiosis, Aston University Dual Degree To Launch In September 2025

The students will get both UK and Dubai qualifications. For the first two years, the students will be studying in Dubai followed by two years at Aston University in Birmingham.

The dual degree will take four years to complete and the first cohort will commence in June 2025. Those who successfully complete the dual degree programme will get a BSc in Business and Management from Aston University and a BBA degree from SIU.

The two universities have entered into a strategic partnership by signing an agreement in June 2024 to collaborate on various activities and projects in the UK, India and Dubai. These projects and activities will be around executive education, teaching research, and joint conferences.

Symbiosis, Aston University Offer Another MBA (Dual Degree)

During this program, the student gets to study at the Symbiosis India campus and the University of Aston campus in the UK. This program helps students to get two Master's degrees within two years of span. These degrees include - an MSc in Finance and an MBA (Banking and Finance) program with a specialization in Financial Services.
