Bentley University: Admissions Open For Master's In Finance

Study in US: Bentley University offers financial education in two paths including Finance or Finance Analytics. Admissions are open for the Fall 2024, Winter 2025 and Spring 2025.

Applications are open at Bentley University USA for the Master's In Finance program which is being offered in two paths including Finance and Finance Analytics. The Finance path is the traditional one which can be completed in 11 to 16 months. It also includes a summer internship. The other path Finance Analytics includes 10 courses focused on statistical analysis and financial mathematics and can be completed between 12 to 16 months.

"Students can choose their path at any point before their second semester.Bentley University’s Financial Analytics program has been assigned a CIP code that corresponds with DHS’ list of STEM designated programs. International students on F-1 visas may apply to USCIS for a 24-month extension of their standard 12 months of OPT based on this classification, which if approved would result in a total of 36 months of U.S. work authorization. Bentley also has partnerships with the GARP and CFA Institute for their designations and offers Bloomberg certification courses on their 24 on-campus Bloomberg terminals," reads the university statement.

This course is one of the university's top-ranked programs. Financial Times in 2023 ranked this program at number 4 in US programs and number 44 globally. It excels in the percentage of female faculty, company internships and average salary. The Financial Analytics path is a STEM-based program which prepares students for more than 2 million upcoming analytics jobs. The students get hands-on experience by leveraging tools like FactSet and Bloomberg for case studies and coursework and the multimillion-dollar Trading Room.

Bentley on Track to be First Fair Trade-Certified U.S. Business University

The university is soon likely to be the first business university in the country to become a certified Fair Trade University. After students from Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE) pitched for the university to pursue the certification, the university is currently on track to be certified. After the students pitch, President E. LaBrent Chrite approved the resolution.

Bria Milbery, associate director of programs and initiatives in the BSLCE said, “Fair trade is a business model that ensures we are valuing people and planet just as important — if not more important — than profit. It ensures that people are being paid fairly and that there is no child labor or slavery involved all the way up the supply chain.”
