Shri Ram College of Commerce, College of Engineering, Guindy, and Amrut Mody School of Management are the winners of the Kelley MSIS AI in Business Case Competition.

Study in US: Indiana University - Kelley School of Business recently organized the MSIS AI in Business Case Competition at IU India Gateway to showcase the innovative ideas and exceptional talent of students from top colleges across India.

The three institutes which shined in this competition included - Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) at Delhi University, Amrut Mody School of Management of Ahmedabad University, and College of Engineering, Guindy at Anna University Chennai.

“We are incredibly impressed by the quality of submissions received for this competition. The winning teams have truly excelled in their application of AI to address real-world business challenges.  A huge shoutout to all the participants for your hard work and dedication and a hearty congratulations to our winners,” said Professor Bipin Prabhakar, Faculty Chairperson, Information Systems Graduate Programs, Kelley School of Business.

MSIS AI in Business Case Competition Details

Key requirements for the competition were, that the candidates need to be undergraduates and they must send the resume, student copies of GRE/GMAT or TOEFL scores and a scanned transcript. There was no application fee for the competition.








The projects of the winning team showcased the potential of AI to drive efficiency and innovation in various industries. They also demonstrated their ability to develop effective and creative solutions and a deep understanding of AI applications in business.







The competition is a part of the Kelley School of Business and it aims to prepare students for promising careers in information systems and foster innovation. The competition provides valuable experience to the participants and helps them to get the skills and knowledge needed in this field.

The priority application deadline for Round 2 is November 1. The candidates are advised to apply early to save money and time to have a simple application process which has no fee and requires fewer documents.

Kelley School to present Futurecast 2025 economic outlook tour in Indiana

Futurecast 2025 economic outlook tour by the business school will start on October 30, 2024. Economists at the  Indiana University Kelley School of Business will address the tour. They will present economic forecasts across Indiana cities.

Phil Powell, executive director of the school’s Indiana Business Research Center and clinical associate professor of business economics and public policy at the Kelley School said, “Emotions are high this election year. Markets have transitioned out of the pandemic. Our Futurecast offers data and facts so that Hoosiers gain unbiased understanding of how their local, state and national economies will evolve in 2025.”
