Study Abroad: Apply for Inlaks Scholarships; Applications to open in February 2025
The value offered by the Inlaks Scholarships depends on the course which can be of duration from nine months to four years.
Inlaks Scholarship helps Indian students to study in Europe, the UK and the United States of America. Studying in these countries is often very expensive and it puts an extreme financial burden on families. Hence, interested candidates can apply for the Inlaks Scholarships. The applications for 2025 will open in February 2025.
Most of the world's top universities are in these countries. Students can study at top universities and get financial help from the Inlaks Scholarships.
These scholarships are given to young graduates of India for range of subjects. It is granted to graduates with exceptional character, talent and motivation to fulfil their dreams of studying abroad.
"The aim is to give them a life-changing experience that will broaden their vision and improve their skills to operate in society, helping to bring their talent to fruition, and thus making them a future vehicle of positive change in their environment," reads the official statement.
The scholarship is given for courses of duration between nine months to four years. The value depends on the course for which the applicant applies, and it covers the tuition fees, one-way travel, living expenses and health allowance of up to USD 100,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for Inlaks Scholarships:
- The applicant should be an Indian resident and must be an Indian passport holder.
- They should be born on or after 1st January 1994.
- They need to be a degree holder from a recognized university in India. Those whose results and awaited as they are in final year can also apply.
- Those applicants who have completed their graduation abroad should have been in India for a minimum of two years after completing their graduation so that they can be eligible to apply.
- Must have an offer of admission while applying for the application.
- Students whose university requires English language certification must get the certification before they apply for the scholarship.
- Those who have deferred offer of admission should have a valid offer.
- For Humanities, Fine Arts, Law, Social Sciences, Architecture and related subjects, the minimum percentage should be 65%, GPA 2.6/4, or CGPA 6.8/10 from a recognized institute.
- For Environment, Mathematics, Sciences and related subjects, the candidates should have a minimum percentage of 70%, a GPA 3/4, or CGPA 7.2/10, from a recognized institute.
