Study abroad aspirants who are looking to study in US or study in Canada can apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship. The application deadline for the international student is August 21, 2024. There are a total of 30 full scholarships and 100 entrance awards available for Summer / Fall 2025 admission to pursue master's or professional courses at McGill.

"The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to accelerate their impact on the world," reads the official statement.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for 2025 cohort

The following are the eligibility conditions to apply for the 2025 cohort. The candidates need to have one of the following criteria:

  • If the student is currently on track to earn their first bachelor's degree by August 2025
  • If the applicant has earned the first bachelor's degree in the last five years (In January 2019 or after that)
  • If the first bachelor's degree of the candidate was earned more than five years ago but the candidate is 30 years of age or younger in 2024.

McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill University: Details

With this scholarship, the student will be able to pursue a fully funded master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University. McCall MacBain Scholarship covers the complete tuition and fees for the full duration of the program, provides a living stipend of $2,000 per month and also offers a one-time relocation grant for moving to Montreal.

To get the scholarship, the program should include at least 45 credits or more. Following Master's degrees are covered under the scholarship - MM (Management Analytics, Finance, Retail), MMus (Music), MPP (Public Policy), MATL (Arts in Teaching and Learning), MBA (Business Administration), MSc (Science), MScA (Science, Applied), MScAPT (Science, Applied in Physical Therapy), MEd (Education), MEng (Engineering), MISt (Information Studies), MSW (Social Work), MUP (Urban Planning), LLM (Law), STM (Sacred Theology), and MScAOT (Science, Applied in Occupational Therapy).








McGill University has collaborated with over 80 universities in 28 countries and encourages students from these universities to apply for the scholarship.
