Study in Australia: Apply for Sydney International Equity Scholarship

There is no application deadline right now. The University of Sydney is accepting applications for the Sydney International Equity Scholarship.

The University of Sydney is offering the Sydney International Equity Scholarship for international students. It covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living allowance. It also offers other benefits for up to 2 years. Those who are interested in studying in Australia can apply for the Sydney International Equity Scholarship. There is no last date announced for the scholarship.

It is available for international students who have applied for a postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney. The candidate should also be recommended by a key global partner organization as a preferred candidate.

To get this scholarship, the candidate should meet all the requirements of the global partner organization. Those who are starting a second degree at the University of Sydney will not be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The university will select the candidates after consulting with the key global partners. The applications which are not recommended by a key global partner will not be considered.

"Recipients will be awarded the scholarship based on their application for admission to the relevant postgraduate coursework degree. This will include assessment of the applicant's academic merit, financial need and a personal statement (if applicable)," reads the official statement.

To support the foreign students enrolling to a postgraduate course at the university, this scholarship was set up in 2024. It is to help students from financially challenging backgrounds. The scholarship is supported by the university's global partners.

Sydney International Equity Scholarship Benefits

The selected candidates will get the following benefits:

• Full tuition fee coverage for their chosen course
• Living allowance of $12,000 per annum
• It will provide health coverage and student services amenities fee
• Flight tickets for both sides will be provided, first to come to Australia and after the completion of the course, flight tickets to go back to the home country. Travel expenses offered by the university will be of up to a value of $4,000.
• Students will get on-campus accommodation and $1,000 per year for textbooks
• Visa application fees and ancillary costs of $3,000 per year will be covered.
