Postdoctoral Fellowship Vacancies

These eight fellowship positions include:

1. Postdoctoral Position in Structural Biology - The fellowship will get to work in the Biosynthetic Enzymes Laboratory which is located centrally in the vibrant UBC campus. It focuses on enzymes that make natural products. 
2. Postdoctoral Fellow – Wellington Laboratory - The Fellow will get to work on multiple projects and do statistical analysis. These projects involve large-scale databases of spinal cord injury, traumatic or hypoxic, Multiple Sclerosisbrain injury, healthy aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The fellow will also oversee their own individual project.
3. Postdoctoral Fellowship Position– Electrochemical Systems – The fellow will join an ongoing project and he/she must have strong hands-on experience in electrochemical device characterization techniques and applications. The ongoing project is to study the production of green hydrogen via high-temperature and pressure (HTP) water electrolysis.
4. Postdoctoral Fellow – Biomarker Diagnostics for Neurodegenerative Disorders - The fellow will lead the clinical evaluation, analytical validation, and technological design of biofluid diagnostics to accurately diagnose neurodegenerative proteinopathies at the right time. The fellow will get to work at St Paul’s Hospital which is a UBC teaching hospital located in downtown Vancouver, Canada.
5. Postdoctoral Fellow: Atmospheric dynamics for temperature and hydrological extremes - The post-doctoral researcher will work with Prof. Rachel White, collaborating with Dr. Michael Sigmond from Environment Climate Change Canada. The fellow is expected to take leadership of this project. There will be flexibility in the project for additional analysis and the ideal candidate would bring their own ideas to the team.
6. Collaborative Postdoctoral Position – Medical Imaging AI - The fellow will work closely with a diverse team of surgeons, engineers, and researchers. Also, the research findings will be submitted for publication in prestigious journals. The researcher will get to work with the industry partner Torus Biomedical Solutions.
7. Postdoctoral Fellow – CFD Analyst - The desired candidate must have more than 5 years of industrial and academic experience in heat transfer, thermo-fluid mechanics, CFD simulation, kinetic modelling, and multi-phase flow simulation.
8. Postdoctoral Fellow in Wisnovsky & Williams Labs, UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences - This position is fully funded for the next five years and will offer a competitive salary. The fellow will get to work in a jointly-supervised postdoctoral fellowship position.
