Study In Italy: Apply For PG Courses At University Of Turin On Scholarship Worth €20,000
The University of Turin is offering scholarships worth €20,000 to international students enrolling in postgraduate degrees.
University of Turin (Universita Di Torino) has announced 38 scholarships for international students enrolling in PG degrees taught in English. The last date to apply for these courses is January 30, 2025. The total amount of the scholarship is € 20,000.00.
"The University of Turin is setting up a programme of 38 two-year scholarships aimed at talented international students who for the 2025-2026 academic year enrol in the first year of a postgraduate degree without a restricted number of places, taught in English," says the official statement of the university.
Eligibility Criteria For University of Turin's PG Scholarship
The following are the eligibility requirements:
The applicants should be international students and not citizens of Italy.
They should not be resident in Italy.
Must have a degree valid for pursuing a postgraduate degree. This degree should be obtained from a university outside the Italian education system.
They should apply for a taught in English postgraduate degree without a restricted number of places at the University Of Turin.
PG Courses Taught In English Without Restricted Number Of Places
The following courses options are there to apply - Stochastics and Data Science, Quantitative Finance and Insurance, Molecular Biotechnology, Materials Science, Language Technologies and Digital Humanities, Geography and Territorial Sciences, European Legal Studies, English and American Studies, Economics, Cultural Heritage and Creativity for tourism and territorial development, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology for Neuroscience, Biotechnological and Chemical Sciences in Diagnostics, Artificial Intelligence for Biomedicine and Healthcare, and Area and Global Studies for International Cooperation.
"PLEASE NOTE: in order to be admitted and enrolled in the course, non-European candidates residing abroad and applying for a visa must comply with the provisions and deadlines in force for visas, including the procedures set out in the interministerial provisions published annually on the entry, residency and enrolment of international students and the respective recognition of qualifications for higher education courses in Italy," added the official statement.
"The scholarship will only be paid out if the successful candidate has completed enrolment within the deadline indicated by the International Students Office and, in the case of non-EU visa applicants, has obtained a study visa and submitted an application for a residence permit, in accordance with the established deadlines," further added the statement.
