UW’s Faculty of Law and Administration student reaches top 10 finalists of Global Student Prize

Last month, the Varkey Foundation and Chegg.org announced the finalists of the Global Student Prize for the best students across the globe. A student of the Faculty of Law and Administration department at the University of Warsaw - Mikołaj Wolanin is in the top ten of the finalists.

Mikołaj Wolanin commented, “I sent my application via e-mail. First, I answered the attached questions, and then was qualified for the interview. I was selected for the top 50, which was already a great achievement. Now I have managed to be included in the top ten. The prize is about social activism and is the idea behind this competition.”

Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector also commented on his achievement and said, “You are the only representative of Poland, and even Europe, among the finalists. This is a huge distinction. We are keeping our fingers crossed that you will become the winner. For me, as Rector, it is a great joy and pride to have such an active and talented student at the University.”
