Stevens Institute of Technology in the US is offering Assistantships and Fellowships to select graduates. These funding are limited in numbers, they are highly competitive and will be given to students based on merit.

Study Abroad: Stevens Institute of Technology in the US is offering graduate students various competitive Assistantships and Fellowships opportunities. The deadline for the Spring semester is November 1, 2024. This graduate funding will be mostly awarded to selected students at the time of admission, but those who will not get it in the first year can get through the academic unit after they take admissions.

The exact details will be given to students with their award letter but the funding will provide a stipend and will also cover the tuition fees. The fall semester deadline is February 1, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the selection criteria:

  • The applicant should be an undergraduate with good academic performance
  • GRE/GMAT scores are needed.
  • The international applicants must submit the TOEFL scores.
  • To apply for this funding, the applicant should not fill out any separate application but fill yes in the application in response to the question - "Do you wish to be considered for a graduate scholarship, assistantship, or fellowship?"

Types of Assistantships

There are two types of Assistantships being offered - Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships. Those candidates who will be selected for the teaching assistant will get assigned to a professor and will share their administrative and academic responsibilities including leading the recitation and labs sessions and they will also be required to teach the undergraduate classes.








To be selected for the Teaching Assistantships, the international students should demonstrate a working knowledge of the US higher education system and should also have excellent English speaking ability. This is awarded at the discretion of the director of the teaching department.







In Research Assistantships, the candidates will be expected to assist either a group of faculty members or faculty members in performing research.

The stipends for the TAs and RAs for candidates with bachelor's degrees is $27,392, Doctoral Candidates - $30,586, and Master's Degrees - $29,003.
