Study In US: Bucknell University Ranks Fourth Among American Baccalaureate Colleges For Study Abroad

The ranking has used the data of students who earned credits for study abroad in 2022-23. Bucknell University had 486 students earn study abroad credit during this period.

According to the Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange, Bucknell University was placed at the fourth rank for awarding study abroad credits to students. It was ranked fourth among the baccalaureate colleges which focus on bachelor's degrees.

Stephen Appiah-Padi, director of the Office of Global & Off-Campus Education said, "We are pleased to see so many of our Bucknell students take advantage of the study abroad opportunities we offer. We try to offer a wide variety of programs abroad — both Bucknell faculty-led and partner provider programs — that fit our students' academic and professional interests, and it's rewarding to be recognized for our student participation in those programs."

Bucknell University Offers Study Abroad Programs Year-Round

Bucknell University provides six study abroad programs. These are created, organized and led by the faculties of Bucknell University and these are all off-campus study programs. These courses are offered throughout the year and these are offered in various locations around the world including France, Spain, London, Athens, Ghana and the Asia Pacific region (Australia and Singapore). These study abroad programs are offered in a variety of disciplines.

Moreover, there are many short-term study abroad programs and exchange programs sponsored by foreign universities.

Bucknell's Professor Named One Of 50 Best Undergraduate Business Professors Of 2024

A leading online publication for undergraduate business education news Poets&Quants for Undergrads has listed Bucknell University Freeman College of Management Professor Annetta Grant, markets, innovation & design as one of its "50 Best Undergraduate Business School Professors of 2024." She is cited as "an emerging leader in consumer research."

While commenting on this achievement, she said, "I love coaching students through their learning journey.
