UCL Offers Exciting Learning Opportunities In Term Three
Study in UK: UCL has asked students to register their interests for upcoming exciting learning opportunities in the third term.
UCL has requested students to choose from university learning strands to develop new skills through exciting learning opportunities coming their way. The New Extended Learning Opportunities will be offered from April 28, 2025, to June 13, 2025.
All the undergraduate and postgraduate students on a taught course who are in their third term will get this opportunity to take part in various exciting activities on campus. This training will provide hands-on experience to students and will also enrich their learning experience.
The Extended Learning Opportunities programme is being run in partnership with the Students’ Union UCL. It is based on feedback from students in 2024 and follows a successful pilot. The students can choose from options - supercharge your career, debate the future, connect with communities, and innovate and create.
"You’ll be able to take a break from working on assessments, try something new, develop your skills and get support planning your next steps," reads UCL's statement.
UCL Is Training Students To Ensure Safe Campus
Active Bystander Programme was launched 10 years ago which empowers UCL students to recognize and challenge unacceptable behaviour such as harassment, bullying and sexual misconduct inside and outside the campus. Till now, more than 50,000 students have been trained to safely raise their voices against these problematic behaviours.
"The programme is part of our journey towards social and cultural change and compliments other initiatives across the Students' Union and UCL, including the sexual harassment training provided for clubs and societies by the Union. 5,500 students have taken the Active Bystander training programme since the start of the academic year in September 2024," said the UCL statement.
