MEng Mechanical Engineering course will commence in September 2024. The students will get an exciting opportunity to study both in Dubai and UK campuses. There is no application fee for the course.

University of Birmingham Dubai: Admissions open for MEng Mechanical Engineering

University of Birmingham Dubai invited applications for the MEng Mechanical Engineering course. It is of four years duration. The annual tuition fee for 2024 entry is AED 132,778 per year of study and can be paid in instalments. Scholarships are available for years 1 and 2 of the course.

The course modules cover core mechanical engineering subjects. Candidates get the opportunity to specialise and gain in-depth knowledge of their chosen area. The University of Birmingham Dubai graduates work in General Electric, Airbus, Aston Martin, BAE Systems, BP, Exxon Mobil, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes High Performance Engines and Laing O'Rourke Rolls-Royce.

Entry Requirements for Indian students

Those who do not meet the entry requirements for Mathematics are eligible to take the mathematics entry test.

AAB – ABB =

  • AAB - 80% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra or 75% West Bengal or 85% Other State boards.
  • ABB - 75% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra and West Bengal or 80% Other State boards

Mathematics must be taken with 85% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra 80% West Bengal or 90% Other State boards.

University of Birmingham rises four places in global ranking

QS World University Rankings 2025 was released recently. The University of Birmingham has improved its position amongst the best-performing research-intensive universities in the world – rising four places in the ranking. The university is placed in the 80th position.
