University of Birmingham Dubai invites applications from Indian students for BSc Psychology

University of Birmingham Dubai has announced that the application process is open for their BSc Psychology program September 2024 intake which is open to Indian students.

BSc Psychology at the University of Birmingham Dubai will offer students a curriculum that covers all aspects of modern psychological theory and application that comprises human neuroscience, psychopharmacology, social psychology, and child development.

The annual tuition fee for BSc Psychology for September 2024 is AED 126,309 (USD 35,000 appx.) per year of study. The tuition fee can be paid in instalments. The duration of the course is three years. Scholarships of 30% are available for all students based on academic performance. Entry requirements include, the candidates must have obtained 75-85% in Class 12 from CBSE Boards.

Course Details

The course includes a broad spectrum of topics including human behaviors and cognitive processes. It also covers various mental functions including memory, perception and consciousness, and how these functions interact with each other. It covers the foundational modules in research methods, psychology, and related skills and then also it has the advanced modules in the final year which offer selected psychological areas. The curriculum is selected modularly.








In the first and second years, the program covers core theories and methods of cognitive psychology, and perception, covering child development, learning, personality, social psychology, brain and behavior. The students will also learn how to collect and analyse data and how to design experiments. The third year has a more limited range of topics.

Additionally, in the third year, you can choose from a variety of specialist modules, enabling you to concentrate on advanced areas at the cutting edge of the field. Learning takes place in various settings, from scheduled seminars, lectures, and small group tutorials to peer group learning, where we might prepare and deliver presentations with our classmates," says the official statement.
