University of Hertfordshire offers King’s Award Clearing Scholarship worth £2000

Study in UK: University of Hertfordshire is offering the King’s Award Clearing Scholarship to international students who will start their courses at the university campus in September 2024. It is available for all taught postgraduate applicants for fee purposes.

The scholarship is being offered to celebrate King’s Award granted in May 2024. King’s Award Clearing Scholarship is a one-off payment. The applicants will receive it for the first time when they join the university and it will not be offered to them in subsequent years of study.

This award is not for any PG School of Health & Social Work courses i.e- MSc Physiotherapy, MSc Social Work, MSc Nursing (all routes), and MSc Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging. It is also not available for non-standard courses in Law including LLM Bar Practice, LLM Legal Practice, and PgDip Bar Practice. The scholarship is offered to PG-taught applicants and not for undergraduate courses, OSPAP, Research, Pre-sessional English, HIC or online courses.

King’s Award Clearing Scholarship: Other Conditions

The applicants of this scholarship cannot qualify for any other scholarships or discounts including - Chancellor’s International Scholarship, 20% UH Graduate Discount, International Partner Discount, Early Bird Discount, Student Success Scholarship, King's Award Scholarship or UG Tri Annual Scholarship unless exceptionally awarded at the University’s discretion.








To get this award of £2000, applicants need to deposit of £5,000 to university by 31 July 2024. Also, they should have received and accepted admission to a full-time course and will be paying the full tuition fee and should not be sponsored or discounted for any part of the fee by the university or any other organization.







"The King’s Award Clearing Scholarship will be administered as a £2000 deduction from tuition fees once applicants register at the University - not from their deposit amount. If they have paid their tuition fees in full it can be used for university accommodation (but not for the £150 accommodation deposit, as this is a refundable deposit)," reads the official statement.
