Study in UK: To support extraordinary students from India to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Leeds, the university has announced the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024. It is open to Indian students who have received full-time offers from the University of Leeds for a Master’s program.

The scholarship is intended towards the outstanding students hence the applicants will be selected based on their potential to contribute to the university community, academic achievements and future aspirations in the subject they have chosen.

It can be awarded along with any other external funding or any available Department/Faculty scholarships as long as this does not exceed 100% of your tuition fees.

India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024: More Details

The scholarship is being seen as a significant step in the direction of university’s educational ties with India. This scholarship will provide significant financial support to the students in various master’s degree programs offered at the university. The scholarship will be provided towards the tuition fees. The award value is £5,000 each and there is no limit on the number of scholarships available.

There is no need to apply separately for the scholarship, if a student meets all eligibility criteria, the scholarship will automatically be applied in the second semester of the study.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility requirements for the scholarship:

  • The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
  • They should be classified as an international fee-paying student and must be self-funded.
  • The student must have an offer of a Master’s program at the University of Leeds which will commence in September 2024.
  • The applicant must have accepted the course offered on the application portal and must meet all the academic offer conditions.
  • After accepting the offer, the student must also have paid a deposit of £3,000 towards the tution fee by the date specified in the offer letter.
  • Students enrolled in the online courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • At the start of February 2025, the student must be registered as a student of the University of Leeds.
