University Of Southampton Delhi Announces Scholarships For Undergraduate, Graduate Students In India
University of Southampton Delhi announced two scholarship schemes - Delhi Presidential Scholarships and Future Talent Scholarship. The eligibility criteria will be announced by February end when the scholarship applications will be open. The academic session will commence in August 2025.

While announcing the scholarships, Andrew Atherton, Vice-President International and Engagement at the University of Southampton said, “We are proud to offer these scholarships, which are designed to recognise and reward academic excellence and will provide real, tangible support for students embarking on their higher education journey. A considerable proportion of tuition fees will be invested in scholarships making it possible for many of those who enrol to receive financial support when they meet our academic excellence or widening participation criteria.”
“By studying at University of Southampton Delhi, students will be part of a global academic community, with access to the same high-quality resources, expert faculty, and UK-style education that Southampton is renowned for. These scholarships will empower our students to excel in their academic pursuits and become future leaders and innovators, prepared to make a lasting impact on society,” added Andrew Atherton.
University Of Southampton Delhi Scholarships Details
There will be two Delhi Presidential Scholarships, one for the undergraduate and the other for graduate students. These will be competitive scholarships covering tuition fees for the entire course duration. The recipients of the Delhi Presidential Scholarships will be announced in June and July 2025 for the graduate and undergraduate programs respectively.
There will be a total of 12 Future Talent Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. It will offer INR 220,000 towards the tuition fees during the first year of the course. The scholarship is applicable to all 6 courses being offered by the university to start in August 2025. The candidates will be selected based on their application and strong academic records. The shortlisted candidates will be announced in June and July 2025.
Moreover, the university has announced a merit bursary pool (financial aid) - Future Talent Bursary for undergraduate students who are academically sound but financially disadvantaged students.
“The bursary awards are for undergraduate students only, up to a maximum of INR 660,000 per student, for one year only. Eligibility criteria information and bursary applications will be available in the last week of February,” says the official statement.
