University of Strathclyde Offers Faculty of Science International Excellence Award

Study abroad: The Faculty of Science International Excellence Award at the University of Strathclyde is open for Postgraduate Taught Masters Students.

Study in UK: The University of Strathclyde is offering the Faculty of Science International Excellence Award for students enrolling in the Postgraduate Taught Masters programs. The scholarship is worth between £7,000 to £8,000. The last date to apply for the scholarship is July 31, 2025.

The Faculty of Science International Excellence Award is open to applicants who hold an offer of study from the university for the Faculty of Science on-campus Masters programme to be starting in September 2025. They must be classified as an international student for fee status.

“The scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who can demonstrate excellent academic performance (current/and or previously gained), any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development, and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential of the programme cohort,” says the official statement.

Eligibility Criteria For Faculty of Science International Excellence Award

The following are the entry requirements:

• The scholarship is open to international (non-EU), self-funded, and fee-paying students.
• They must be enrolling on a full-time course at the university to start in September 2025.
• The Faculty of Science International Excellence Award cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points.
• Applicants who are getting full sponsorship from the embassy or government office are not eligible for the Faculty of Science International Excellence Award.

“Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis following a review of the application and statement submitted and assessed based on the academic performance (current and/or previously gained), motivations, experience and career aspirations highlighted. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised. Applicants are advised not to submit duplicate scholarship applications as all scholarship application forms submitted will remain under consideration until the deadline of 31 July 2025,” added the official statement.

Faculty Of Science International Excellence Award At University of Strathclyde: More Details

There are a total of up to 30 scholarships which will be provided towards the tuition fees. A value of £7,000 - £8,000 will be deducted from the fees. The duration of the scholarship is one year.

The eligible subjects include Biology & biological sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Computer Science, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Immunology, Physics and Biomedical Sciences.
