University Of Texas At Arlington Expands Tuition, Fees Reimbursement Program

Study in US: The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) has announced the establishment of a new baseline of $100,000 for its student support program - Blaze Forward. As per the latest changes, any student who comes from a background of adjusted gross income of that amount or less can avail of this program. Such students will not be charged mandatory fees and tuition if they meet other eligibility requirements.

This program was introduced in 2022. For undergraduate students, this program covers the tuition and mandatory fees over four years and for those who completed their associate degree, the program covers the tuition and fees for two years. This program is for Texas residents who are eligible for the TEXAS Grant Program.

UTA President Jennifer Cowley commented,This year, 49% of all UTA undergraduate students had their tuition and fees fully covered. Thanks to the Board of Regents, even more Texans will be able to experience the transformative power of a UTA education tuition-free. We are thrilled to create the opportunity to help even more students achieve their dreams of a college degree.”

Tamara L. Brown, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs said,Blaze Forward provides meaningful financial assurances to thousands of Texas families. This program expansion reflects UTA’s enduring commitment to ensuring that the resources students need to succeed and thrive throughout their Maverick journeys are available to them, regardless of financial background."








Who Will Be Considered For Blaze Forward Program At University Of Texas At Arlington?

The students who were admitted and enrolled at the beginning of the fall 2025 academic term and transfer students and first-time-in-college undergraduates will be considered for the Blaze Forward program's scholarship.







The university said that it is one of the many financial resources the university is offering out of the $400 million financial support commitment to UTA students entering fall 2024.

University of Texas at Arlington Named Top Public University For Military Persons, Veterans

According to the 2024 Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges list, the University of Texas at Arlington is the top public university for veterans and military service members. For the university's support of military-related students, it has been placed among the top five institutes.
