Study Abroad: The strategic alliance between Western Sydney University and UST aims to improve global food security by promoting sustainable agriculture and will foster partnerships between industry leaders.

Western Sydney University, UST Ink MoU To Accelerate Agritech Innovation

Western Sydney University in Australia has entered into a strategic partnership with UST to join forces on advancing agritech solutions.

Both the partners have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU). Under this agreement, WSU's domain expertise and research capabilities will be combined with UST's cutting-edge technology solutions to increase global food security by driving sustainable agriculture.

WSU, UST Partnership For Agritech Innovation Details

The partners will leverage their combined strengths for agri industry needs by developing innovative agritech solutions, conducting focused research, and through mentoring programs, they will nurture the next generation of industry leaders. UST and WSU will also take knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote sustainable agricultural practices and educate the public.







The agreement was signed in India in the presence of Prof. Deborah Sweeney, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Enterprise and Global), Dr Nisha Rakhesh, Head of International Strategy and Partnerships; Dr Nicolene Murdoch, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Partnerships and TNE); and Dr. Kopal Chaube, PhD, Lead Research Collaborations and Partnerships, South Asia, Western Sydney University; Hilary McGeachy, Australian Consul General, Bengaluru; Jaison Sebastian, Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives;  Kirankumar Doreswamy, Vice President and Center Head, Bengaluru; Tinu Cherian Abraham, Director and Head, Global PR & Media Relations, UST.
