Lazarski University is a private Polish university in Warsaw. The university was formerly known as Ryszard ?azarski Higher School of Commerce and Law in Warsaw. It was founded in the year 1993 by Ryszard ?azarski. There are three main faculties or departments at Lazarski University: Faculty of Law and Administration, Faculty of Economics and Management and Faculty of Medicine, under which undergraduate, postgraduate and other programmes are offered to students. The Faculty of Law and Administration offers programmes in Polish Suicidology Society, Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology, Institute of Aviation and Space Law, Institute for Research into Local Government, Institute for Healthcare Law, Institute for Civil Space and Public Policy, and more.
The Faculty of Economics and Management offers courses in the US Economy and Transatlantic Relations Institute, Institute of Healthcare Management, Centre of Logistics and Innovations, and Centre for Blockchain Technology. The Faculty of Medicine has only one programme at the undergraduate level. The programme is conducted in polish language. It is the first private university in Warsaw to educate students in medicine. The faculty has a Basic and Pre-Clinical Research Centre, along with a Medical Science Laboratory and a Morphological Science Laboratory. There are also other educational centres that deliver full-time programmes.
The Lazarski University Postgraduate Education Centre offers postgraduate degrees like MBA or MPA for students with an undergraduate degree. The Foreign Language Centre offers language courses and also conducts examinations for the University for Exams like TOEIC, TOLES, and LCCI. Other student facilities include a student legal clinic that provides free legal counsel to students, internship and placement division to provide jobs to students, and a graduate club, which is like an alumni association.
Lazarski University has only one campus, which is located in Warsaw, Poland. The university has made many efforts to make its campus open and facilitate open, healthy discussions among its students, which will help create new ideas in their minds. The large campus has five buildings dedicated solely to teaching. Among its other facilities, there are six air-conditioned classrooms and 48 classrooms. All rooms have modern technology equipment fitted in classes. There is also a courtroom for law students to practice.
Among their most distinguished teachers are Ma?gorzata Ga??zka-Sobotka, a PhD holder who has been recognised among the nine most influential people who had an impact on the polish healthcare system by the list of 100 Most Influential People in the Polish Healthcare System and was awarded the Portrait of Polish Medicine award at the 14th Health Market Forum. Under the university's Faculty of Law and Administration, lecturer Ewelina Milan, MA, had previously served as a juror at the National Client Consultation Competition in Ukraine.
