Purvi talks about studying MSc Luxury Marketing at Montpellier Business School, France
Q. What did you choose France for your studies?
PK: France has been a gateway of opportunity as my next step after the bachelor’s degree I was looking out for, and I was looking for a place where I receive my learning not only from classrooms but also outside. France has given me the opportunity to learn about myself outside my comfort zone. During my first year the amount of international exposure I received has been extremely useful and something I would not have received if I did not come to France. France was also one of the few countries where I could undertake a master’s degree in Luxury marketing.

Shiksha.com gave me various business school options with their ranking and other details. They also shared contact details of students coming to France with me so that we could assist each other.
Q. Please share a typical day at MBS.
PK: A typical day at MBS starts at 9:30 am luckily my place is not that far so I usually walk to school. All the classes are mostly three hours of teaching and working on exercises or projects. Every class has got a mix of international students coming from various parts of the world. When working on group projects mostly there are students of various nationalities come together to work. We have a lunch break from 12:30 which is great to chat with friends having lunch or take a walk. Usually, the day ends by 17:00. Every class has a different way of being conducted such as a mix of case studies or research paper reading, working on some real-world problems, etc.
