Student Diversity & Preferred Profile
What are the chances to get into this school?
The school’s various stages of admission process are aimed at identifying areas of academic and personal profile of applicants that make each individual stand out and highlight their uniqueness. It has a low acceptance rate but it is majorly due to the fact that the undergraduate programs are limited, and seats are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, by strict order of reservation. As the programs are usually full several months before the academic year starts, the university advises students to start the application process as soon as possible, keeping in mind that applying for visas can take time. The UG admission selection process is a three-step procedure:
Diversity is highly valued by the university which reflects in its Admission Process. The Admissions Committee evaluates an applicant’s academic performance as well as their awards and accomplishment in the professional field. Thus, for graduate admissions as well, it takes a holistic approach when evaluating applications in order to bring in the most talented and interesting candidates. The review process identifies and recognizes creativity and a wide range of competencies, which are not always reflected in a traditional assessment based solely on academic achievement. Thus, an ideal IE Business School applicant should be open-minded, can make a real impact with their work, able to think rationally and logically, and take a step further irrespective of their circumstances.
