- Official university bachelor's or master's degree from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) or equivalent foreign degree allowing access to a postgraduate degree in the country that issued the degree
- Academic transcript of the accredited official training with the average grade at the university of origin.
- A letter of motivation in English stating the candidate's interest in following the master's programme (400 to 600 words).
- In addition all candidates must provide following document:
- A letter of acceptance into a Research Group in order to carry out the master's internship.
- a) If applicant have already been accepted to a research group for doing the master research practicum, please provide the acceptance letter by the group's supervisor/director. The group can be located in Spain or in a foreign country.
- b) If applicant do not have a host research group at the time of registering, you must indicate your first 5 choices, in order of preference, from the list of groups offered by the BIOMED master.

- The master's programme in Biomedical Research is focused on the study of the molecular, cellular, physiological and evolutionary foundations of biological processes and their pathological or adaptive alterations.
- The programme's main objective is to help students acquire advanced conceptual and experimental knowledge of the molecular and cellular foundations for cellular processes and dysfunctions involved in physiological function and disease and to teach them to apply this knowledge to basic and biomedical research.
- More than 80% of the students who complete this master's degree continue on to a doctoral programme, either in Spain or abroad (mainly EU and USA).
