- Applicants must normally a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in a relevant subject
- Applicants with qualifications below 2.2 Honours degree standard, or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University, will be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can demonstrate appropriate acceptable experience
- Successful completion of Bachelor degree with:
- Second Division Pass and a minimum final average of 55% (in the traditional system), or
- CGPA 7.0 out of 10 on the 10 point scale; or 6.0 - 6.5 out of 10 if this equates to 'Above Average' in the institutional grading system, or
- 3.5 out of 6.0/C+/Average+ in the 6-point system
- We take into account that at some of India's most prestigious higher education institutions it is rare to be awarded a First Class degree. For this reason, it may be possible at the discretion of the Selector to consider candidates from top institutions who have achieved a very good Second Class degree with a final average of 58% or above (where a UK 2:1 is required), or 53% (where a UK 2:2 is required)
