Bergen Community College has a warm, friendly and vibrant campus life.
Tips: The transition was very smooth. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There was a slight cultural shift in terms of food and society. I did not get any scholarships. I like the university as it is very flexible and the faculty is very nice and helpful. The country is very beautiful and the weather is very pleasant.
Likes (Public transportation): There are many bus options and the price is very cheap around 3-4 dollars per trip. The bus ride is very smooth and not very crowded. Buses are run for the colleges specifically and there is a lot of parking for people who want to drive here. Paramus has a lot of malls and is very well connected to the rest of the city.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It is pretty hard to get a green card or citizenship nowadays with an unstable and lower job market. Government crackdown on immigration is also a factor these days. I would like to live here as I like the country and find it very beautiful.
