- The Merage School’s full-time 1-year Master of Professional Accountancy program prepares all qualifying students for a successful career
- The curriculum focuses on career and professional development alongside technical mastery to make sure students are connected to the Merage School network and ready for a position upon completion of the program
- Through the innovative curriculum designed to emphasize both career/professional development and technical mastery, students gain the essential skills and knowledge necessary to master these challenges and to succeed at major corporations and accounting firms across the globe
- To prepare students for the continually changing digital landscape, the MPAc program now offers a 3-course Data Analytics Track developed in Partnership with Deloitte, as well as a 3-course Tax Track
- Students are required to complete no less than 11 courses including 7 required courses for a minimum of 44 units
- The MPAc program is STEM-designated and eligible students have the option to apply for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon graduation

- Managerial Accounting
- It is recommended that these courses are taken at your 4-year university, university extension, or community college program
- The following courses will need to be completed before the program begins in the fall:
- Intermediate Accounting I
- Intermediate Accounting II
- Individual Taxation
- Auditing
- Additional coursework is not required for the application; however, enrolling in additional accounting courses is encouraged. Suggested electives include: Corporate and Partnership Taxation, Accounting Information Systems, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, and International Accounting
- Applicants who do not meet the entrance requirement to begin the program in the Fall quarter will have the opportunity to enroll in an intensive summer pre-session to satisfy all of the coursework requirements. Students must successfully complete all of the pre-session coursework to meet the course prerequisites of the MPAc program in order to enter the program in the Fall quarter. Pre-session coursework is done over the two designated Summer Sessions: two courses in Summer Session I and two courses in Summer Session II
