Master of Public Administration - Batch of 2024

Been a wonderful experience with great academics and faculty.
Tips: Living in NCSU has been an adventure in a lot of senses. You will be expected to bring out the best of your potential in the classrooms while being an active part of the community as well so all in all, you will be pretty busy. The city has a lot of interesting spots to explore but avoid eating out if you are planning on saving some cash. Overall, I am very satisfied with the course, college and the country.

Learning and growing every day at North Carolina State University.
Tips: I have transitioned well since coming to North Carolina State University. Before arriving, I had visited the States a few times and was somewhat familiar with the customs. That probably helped me avoid any major culture shock. My advice to new students is to take advantage of your leaves and explore the diversity of the city and other parts of the country if possible. There are so many things to see and do, and you will be amazed at what you discover.

It's a good college to study
Tips: Know about the current job market before joining the college. The courses are very good, but internships and full time are hard to find currently. Work before you opt for MS, as work experience matters more in the job hunt and understanding the courses.

Master of Science in Biochemistry - Batch of 2025

North Carolina State University has been an ideal place for me to learn and grown significantly.
Tips: What I have realised so far is that while the coursework here is challenging, it can also be rewarding. I've learnt to manage my academic commitments with extra curriculums and truly enjoy the experience offered here at NCSU. Students should use a planner or a digital calendar to help them out with their deadlines and planning. The exam patterns here are very different from those in India so it might take some time to adjust our faculty are helpful and you can reach out to them without any hesitation. There are numerous events and seminars held to help students so you should participate in them.

Not worth it for the amount of fee we pay
Tips: Unlike India, here the college name or brand doesn't impact much. So find a good university at a reasonable fee. Also, check the course work before coming to college or connect with seniors and ask them for syllabus and study material or sources, it makes things easy after coming here.
