Aerospace Engineering (MSAE) at UCF Highlights
- Students will be able to develop technologies for aerospace vehicle systems, ranging from aircraft and spacecraft to propulsion systems and satellites
- Upon completion of the program students will be able to conduct quality control inspections, evaluating the performance of a system and if it achieves the desired outcomes
- Students must choose from four tracks: Accelerated BS to MSAE, Guidance Control and Dynamics, Space Systems Design and Engineering, and Thermofluid Aerodynamic Systems Design and Engineering.
- Students will be able to Identify, formulate and solve complex problems — using principles of engineering, science and mathematics

- A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or closely related disciplinefrom an accredited U.S. institution recognized by UCF or its equivalent from a foreign institution.
- GPA of 3.0 or more (on a 4.0 maximum) in all work attempted while registered as an undergraduate student OR while registered as an upper-division undergraduate student (normally based on the last sixty attempted semester hours)
- OR, a graduate degree, professional degree or equivalent from an accredited U.S. institution recognized by UCF or its equivalent from a foreign institution in a field related to the discipline of the program to which the student is applying
- Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering program is designed for those with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical institution in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a closely related field.
- A student with an undergraduate degree outside of the selected departmental discipline may also be required to satisfy an articulation program.
