• General or Upper Level Chemistry
• General or Upper Level Physics
• General or Upper Level Biology- Must be Human Based Biology; knowledge of human body, structure and function. Exercise Physiology can be substituted for one course.
• General or Upper Level Human Anatomy & Physiology
• Social Sciences- Any combination of Psychology, Sociology, Sociocultural/Socioeconomic, Anthropology, Human Behavior and Development, Public Health, Humanities (must show human relationships), Ethnicity or Gender Studies courses can be used toward this requirement.
• Human Growth and Development over Lifespan
• Medical Terminology
• A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 calculated on program prerequisites and a required grade of C or better earned in each prerequisite course is preferred; however, the grade trend of the applicant will be considered.
• A minimum of 80 volunteer or observation experience hours (volunteer hours, work hours, observation hours, etc.) in a physical therapy setting is required.
• A comprehensive background check requiring fingerprints and drug screen will be administered during the admissions process.
