Webber International University: Courses, Admission, Cost

Webber International University was founded by Grace Knight and Roger W. Babson on April 6, 1927. The University is a private, not-for-profit, independent university offering degrees at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s levels in a wide range of programs. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. It is one of only seven schools recognized by ‘U.S. News & World Report America’s Best Colleges’ for a business specialty.

Spread across an area of 110 acres alongside a beautiful crooked lake, the university is a great place to study amidst picturesque surroundings. The campus also contains a softball field, soccer field, baseball stadium, tennis courts, a swimming pool, beach volleyball courts, outdoor basketball courts, practice football field, and a golf putting green. Two gymnasiums provide indoor basketball and volleyball courts, locker rooms, and co-ed weight-training equipment in the fitness center. 

The university provides a supportive academic environment in a recreational and resort-like setting. Currently, It houses students from over 29 states and 48 countries. The University awards degrees at the bachelor and master levels at locations in Florida and North Carolina, as well as the associate level in Florida. Traditional classroom, online, and hybrid learning environments are available. Webber's programs in Florida focus on the worldwide business environment and emphasize the development of skills in administration and strategic planning, applied modern business practices, and entrepreneurship. The St. Andrews branch campus in North Carolina offers an array of traditional liberal arts and sciences and pre-professional programs of study.

Webber International University also provides 96.6% of its students with some kind of financial aid, and also on-campus residency units. The university works on the motto of 'how to learn, how to think, and how to apply method' to overcome challenges. Webber International University not only excels in academics but also in athletics. It is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The university maintains teams of various sports, including baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and softball.

The university holds a Career Services Office for all its students. Also, its alumni help students in landing in their dream jobs. Staff members help students in writing resumes and cover letters, assist them in honing their interview skills, and also provide spaces for mock interviews. The university also organizes on-campus visits of potential employers and career fairs every year for its students. Further, some notable alumni of this university are Bo Dallas and Taula Fifita (professional wrestlers), Gary Faulkner Jr. and Daria Pajak (ten-pin bowlers).
