Founded in 1886, Yeshiva University (YU) is a private research university in New York City, United States. It is a STEM-oriented university which focuses on master’s programs in Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Mathematics (master’s and PhD) and Physics.

Yeshiva University History
A cheder-style elementary school called Etz Chaim Yeshiva was founded in 1886 and located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and it was established along the lines of the Eastern European Yeshivas. Later in the year 1928, the Yeshiva established Yeshiva College which offers both upper-level yeshiva education as well as a secular university curriculum that awards a bachelor's degree.
Yeshiva U obtained its university status in 1945 and in the next few decades many new schools as well as divisions were opened. During the 1950s, the Stern College for Women, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Graduate School of Education and the Humanities were also established.

However, a qualifying score on the SAT/ACT combined with a strong academic record can exempt the students from the English Proficiency exams. (If you’re applying for an honours degree, then applicants must have an SAT/ACT score ready)
Applicants must submit their official high school transcripts directly to the office of undergraduate admissions.
