History
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David was established on Nov 18, 2010, when the University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College Carmarthen were merged under the Lampeter’s royal Charter of 1828. Later in 2013, the Swansea Metropolitan University also became a part of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. UWTSD has three main campuses across South West Wales (Lampeter, Carmarthen, and Swansea). Each campus features modern teaching, learning, and research facilities like spacious classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and art studios. Centrally located Trinity Saint building is the oldest structure on the Lampeter campus that houses administrative offices, lecture rooms, and student residences.
