• MS Computer Science program must possess a baccalaureate degree with a major in computer science or information systems from an accredited university or college. In addition, a background in mathematics including calculus and statistics/probability is required.
• Applicants must generally have an average of B or better (a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale). 
• International applicants to this program must:
• Possess a  baccalaureate degree with a major in computer science or information systems
• Demonstrate an academic background in*:
  • Mathematics including calculus
  • Discrete mathematics
  • Probability
• Generally have academic credentials that are the U.S. equivalent of a B or better (a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 60% minimum academic credential)

*Candidates who do not possess an academic background in the required areas may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
