A: 

International students at University of Charleston have mostly received some financial aid every year based on their requirements. The students who wish to apply are required to fill the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the steps to apply are given as follows:

  • Students are first required to create a new Federal Student Aid ID 
  • Students must complete the application by filling all the required information that is asked on the form 
  • In order to complete the application, the contributor must also have a FAFSA ID and must fill their details as well.

Q:   When can I start applying to University of Charleston?

A: 

University of Charleston accepts admission applications from students on a rolling basis and students can apply at any time of the academic year. The steps to apply for admission at the university are given as follows:

  • Students must start with the application by submitting the non-refundable application fee of USD 25 and they also contact the Office of Admissions for any assistance. 
  • The students applying for undergraduate general admissons are now not required to submit their standardized SAT or ACT scores. However, some of the specialised courses at the university require such scores to be submitted. 
  • International Students for whom English is the second language, are required to submit their proof of English Language Proficiency. 
  • Students are also suggested to submit their applications atleast six weeks before the start of the course semester. The university will review their applications on a rolling basis. 

Q:   How long does it take for University of Charleston to accept admission offers?

A: 

University of Charleston have a system of accepting the admission applications on a rolling basis and the students are preferred to submit their application six months prior to the start of their course. After the students have applied, the university will review the application within 72 hours of filing the information provided on their form and it can take longer to process based on the number of applications received by the students. The students will then receive an official letter from the University's Admissions Office with the admission decision and next steps.
